Our favorite small hotel in Danville with really good and welcoming staff. Great location, right by the main center of Danville which is about a 25-minute walk away. Quick check-in and exceptional service. Well-maintained pool.

The mattress was very comfortable. The room was extremely quiet even though it faced a busy freeway.

The design of the vanity area was not accommodating for the application of make-up. The light was too high. This is an architectural flaw and in no way reflects on anything else.

had asked 1 time if we could get breakfast earlier, because we were going to Alcatraz in the morning, here a clear no, there was no city map in the hotel, in the hotel itself a little bit stuffy and in the hotel entrance stank so much of room scent (too concentrated), carpet

The hotel is absolutely great and lavish, with new-fashioned and spotless rooms. Some rooms have an adjoining terrace and heating, offering particularly nice views. - There is a nice restaurant available on-site.

The cleanliness of the rooms, and the excellent man behind the desk that greeted me on Friday afternoon. He made every effort - I needed a blanket, got me a 1st floor room, etc., with a great attitude.

The staff at this hotel were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is wonderful, close to restaurants and shops.

We were impressed by the attention to detail, by the most excellent, yet unobtrusive service and by the great continental breakfast. You all are a cut above any other Best Westerns in which we have stayed with the exception of one in which we spent the first night of our honeymoon 26 years ago. Needless to say the Valley View Inn in Townsend, Tennessee will always hold a special place in our heart, but the Sycamore Inn is right up there with the best of them.

Staff and Facilities were excellent. Made sure that "nonsmoking" was really nonsmoking. Made the fact that they are next to the freeway a non issue. Within walking distance to several restaurants that will meet most tastes.

It was a fantastic stay for a brief visit, and I really enjoyed it.

No shampoo in room, had to request from front desk.

The front desk person was very friendly and answered questions in a polite manner.

I thought the breakfast was too cheap. The assortment of food was lacking.
